Vandy blows the game vs Northwestern in most unimaginable way

Vandy basketball fought back from a double-digit deficit in the second half to get within one point of moving on in the NCAA Tournament.

However, Northwestern escaped with a 68-66 win in Salt Lake City. How Vandy blew the lead, though, is what will keep Vandy fans up at night.

Point guard Riley LaChance took the lead for the Commodores with 17 seconds remaining. Then, Mattew Fisher-Davis inexplicably fouled the Northwestern player.

That gaff ruined what was a great effort by LaChance down the stretch.

LaChance finished with 12 points. Fisher-Davis actually played well and lead the Commodores with 22 points.
