Vanderbilt Game Preview:
Vanderbilt Commodores (1-0) vs. Alabama A&M Bulldogs (0-1)
When: Saturday Sept. 9th, 3 P.M., SEC Network Alternate
Site: Vanderbilt Stadium – Nashville, TN
What to Watch For:
Vanderbilt enters as the heavy favorites with seemingly mismatches all across the board on both offense and defense. Underclassmen on both sides of the ball, as well as Redshirt Freshman Quarterback Deuce Wallace should see extensive playing time in the second half, making his debut. The ‘Dores will service the contest with the Bulldogs as a tune-up game and a confidence builder for the following week with Kansas State. Defensively, the Derek Mason led defense will see two Bulldog Quarterbacks, Damion May and Ageel Glass entering Saturday afternoon.
Alabama A&M is coming off a 38-7 loss to UAB last week. Vandy is 1-0 for the first time under Mason after beating MTSU 28-6 last week. But, Mason said this week that he expects more from his team saying that there was “more meat on the bone” Saturday night.
